We are committed to creating an environment where every swimmer is supported, respected, and safeguarded physically, emotionally, and socially throughout their journey.
Vision Statement
To be a model youth swim program where athletic achievement, character development, and child safety are celebrated equally building confident athletes and compassionate teammates for life.
“Swimming develops Champions... LWSA Gators develop Swimmers!”
About Us
Founded in September 2000, the Lincoln-Way Swim Association Gators Swim Team is a year-round competitive age-group program serving swimmers from age five through high school. Athletes are placed in practice groups based on ability rather than age, allowing every swimmer to excel at their own pace.
We are proud members of Illinois Swimming, Inc. (ISI) and USA Swimming, competing in the South Suburban Swim Conference (SSSC) during both the Winter and Summer seasons.
Our team serves the Lincoln-Way district communities of Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Tinley Park, and Manhattan, and welcomes swimmers from surrounding southwest Chicagoland areas. Practices and meets are primarily held at Lincoln-Way Central High School, with additional training at Lincoln-Way West, and summer long-course sessions at Lake Central High School in St. John, Indiana.
